Is Gabapentin Good for Sciatic Pain?

Gabapentin is good treatment for nerve pain. I do not think sciatic pain is caused by nerve pain.

Never worked for me. Bad reactions with it, especially stomach issues, ankle swelling and dreaded weight gain
